Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

Healthy People International Foundation (HPIF) is a non-governmental organization committed to environmental protection, water sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives. Our mission is to promote clean water access, proper sanitation, and sustainable environmental practices to improve public health and protect natural ecosystems.

In 2024, we partnered with the College of Health, Abuja, to implement a Water Sanitation and Hygiene Enlightenment Program. This initiative aimed to educate communities on safe water usage, waste management, and hygiene best practices to reduce waterborne diseases and improve sanitation standards. Through interactive workshops, community outreach, and awareness campaigns, we empowered individuals with the knowledge to maintain hygienic living environments and adopt sustainable water conservation methods.

Beyond education, HPIF advocates for policy changes, improved sanitation infrastructure, and eco-friendly solutions to protect water resources and enhance environmental sustainability. We also engage in tree-planting projects, waste recycling programs, and clean-up campaigns to reduce pollution and promote a greener future.

By fostering strong partnerships and community-driven solutions, HPIF remains dedicated to creating healthier, safer, and more sustainable living environments across Nigeria.
